On the 5th of June I was invited along to Trinity Wharf in Tauranga to enhance the outcomes of the Otumoetai College Leadership day, more specifically to:

  • Identify leadership characteristics
  • Identify the importance of working as a team and developing team spirit

Additional key outcomes:

In addition to the above outcomes students also had the opportunity to:

  • Explore how effective leadership starts with self
  • Understand the difference between management and leadership
  • Have a great sense of responsibility regarding their leadership role at Otumoetai College

Participants also had the opportunity to take their own meaning away and apply it in any area they wish to increase their results and take more leadership in their lives! Examples included - in the classroom, the sports field, friendships, work, home life or any other area the students wish to make personal improvements in 2018.

This all resulted in a memorable, effective and engaging training experience for the students and staff.

Thanks so much for having me Otumoetai College, it was a blast!
